Frances X. Hogan, who joined Lyne, Woodworth & Evarts LLP in 1970 and has been a partner since 1976, is a transactional lawyer whose practice is largely focused in the area of real estate law. She represents institutions, individuals, non-profits and governmental entities in connection with a wide-variety of matters involving the development, financing, leasing and construction of commercial projects and residential complexes. Ms. Hogan has also been engaged in numerous deals involving federal and state supported programs to create affordable housing, commercial enterprises and jobs in distressed areas throughout Massachusetts.
For many years Ms. Hogan has provided representation to lenders in connection with the difficulties raised when a loan becomes non-performing. This experience includes negotiating work-outs, deeds-in-lieu, and conducting foreclosures.
Ms Hogan graduated from Regis College and with honors from Boston College Law School where she served as a member of the Board of Editors of the Boston College Law Review and was admitted to membership in the Order of the Coif. Admitted to the Massachusetts and the federal bars, Ms. Hogan is a member of the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association. She is a member of the Lyne, Woodworth & Evarts Real Estate/Commercial Lending Law Group.
